So Many Things...First Line Friday, Cover Reveal, and Interviews!

First Line Friday

The idea is we'll all share
(unedited) snippets from one of our
current Works In Progress or a previous release.
Sometimes it will be the first line.
Sometimes it will be a little excerpt.
It will depend on what's inspiring me Thursday night. ;)

Today, I'm sharing the first few lines of my upcoming release, Found At the Library.

Hands down, this is my favorite book I've ever written.
It features two wonderful men who have a shared passion for books.
They just interpret that passion in very different ways.

When I wrote it, it was supposed to be a light, happy, feel-good holiday story.

That's not quite how it worked.
It turned out to be so much more.

There's so much emotion to this book.
I still cry every time I read it.

I hope you fall in love with Tommy and Mac as much as I did.

It's releasing October 23rd and all the pre-order buttons should be up within the next week.
Amazon preorder for ebook
Kobo preorder

Found at the Library Story Description:

His entire life, Tommy Garrett has dealt with self-doubts. He thought he’d conquered the majority of them until a chance meeting with an author brought his illiteracy to the forefront...again. Growing up with un-diagnosed dyslexia has left Tommy barely able to read, but books are his Nirvana. Now he spends his life creating art dedicated to the love of those “untouchable” items.

Robert McIntyre, Mac, is a best-selling, highly celebrated author. But his point of view has become a little bit too narrow...until Tommy opens his eyes. That chance meeting has changed everything about his world. He has no idea how to find the beautiful man he met, and offended, at the library book sale. But when he does, Tommy’s life is in crisis-mode. It’s the holidays and Mac can’t just standby when Tommy needs help, whether Tommy wants it or not.

Two artistic men. One shared passion for books.

Life is hard, and sometimes when conflict arises you have to write your own plot twist to pull yourself out of the fray.

go see what Kelly is up to...

And a few other announcements to share with you.

I have two author interviews coming up this week.

The first can be found tonight at 7:00 PM PST at
1Rad-Reader Reviews. In this one we chatted the characters in Right By Your Side and a little bit about what's to come in that series.

hint: If you sneak over there early, there's another new cover reveal listed on the blog!

*cough* Josh and KC *cough*

Then on Thursday at 12:00 CST, I'll be doing a live interview with the SilverHart authors, Scott Silverii and Liliana Hart.

Here's the link for where the chat will be. You also can subscribe to it so you'll get information about it.

Whew, it's been a busy week. And I have tons of fun stuff to share, so I should be blogging more often. Watch this space!
