Why Snowcroft is my place...
Snowcroft is a real town in New Mexico, I just renamed it. But when we were first married, my husband and I lived there for three wonderful years. In fact, my oldest son was born while we lived there (in fact, the house that Law and Dex live in during Snowcroft Safehouse was our house that we bought there many moons ago...sadly we don't own it anymore).
This week we're back, now visiting my parents who have retired there. I love this area of the mountains and someday absolutely will have a cabin here again. In the meantime, I savor the times I get to write outside on the deck with the cool breeze blowing through the huge pine trees.

And speaking of summer...
Have you discovered these?
OMG, these are my new addiction (serious...addiction...I'm sitting here in Snowcroft wondering if there's anyplace in town where I can go and buy one.)
They are so good and refreshing. A perfect summer treat and it's even better because they're only 70 calories. #WIN

I'm an admitted office supply and paper addict...
So this article speaks to me...
Personally, I see nothing wrong with any of those things. In fact, I'm trying to push through #5 right now as I'm about to delve into the world of Bullet Journaling....but I really don't want to mess it up.
If you don't know what Bullet Journaling is or BuJo for those in the know, go check out BohoBerry's YouTube page and then you can join me in my new addiction. And maybe I'll have some of my journal to share soon if I can ever break past that "I don't want to screw it up" block.

Ampersand for the writer....
I have one of those marquis signs that I put out at Christmas. I love it so much. It adds a bit of candlelight style ambiance to the room without the added fire danger. As a result, I've wanted to get a marquis piece for my office. Well, this week I ran across the perfect one at Target for only $15...and it turns itself off after 4 hours.
I love it so much...along with my new TJ Klune books. Although I'm really trying to hold out on reading until the audiobook is out. I'm not sure I can read this book without Michael Lesley in my ear...

Camp NaNoWriMo update...
My first week of participating in CampNaNoWriMo is going VERY well.
I'm actively writing on two books (yes, even though I'm on vacation).
I'm actively writing on two books (yes, even though I'm on vacation).
Starting July 3rd, we officially started book #5 for KB Jacobs. I'm loving this book so much. More details to come on it later.
And then for my writing, I'm still hard at work on Snowcroft Restoration. It's just a few words short of 40,000 words right now and it should be finished this month (at least the first draft of it).
In fact both these books should get finished this month. I love it when the words flow like this.
So, 6 days into the month, I have 12,765 words written. I can deal with that. ;)
I hope you're reading a great book this weekend.
And if you need recommendations, I'll do a little plug.
Go check out these books.
