Friday Five...all the book news...

I have no idea how my year scheduled out this way, but wow...there is a lot happening in my little corner of the book world right now. All the releases are coming...LOL.

Intertwined Hearts

This book is releasing next week...
October 12!

I got my proof copy of it last night^^^.
*gah* It's so pretty...and so dang big. It is a long book...and that made it a thick book even with using a smaller font. This one finished out at 472 printed pages. O.O

I know, right? But it's pretty and I approved the print version of it this morning, which means it will be showing up for sale (in print only) on Amazon and other outlets over the next few days. So keep an eye out (Note: it takes a few days to iron out the combined print and ebook release, so they won't be showing up together...at least not at first.)

And what do you know? In the time it's taken me to write this post, the print edition has shown up on Amazon...

The ebook version of the book is up for preorder. You can find it here...

Other places to find the book:
NetGalley (if you are a book reviewer)

Snowcroft Restoration

Law's book is now up for preorder.
It's releasing November 15th.
Right now the only place it's up is Amazon, but the other retailers should be coming up in the next week or so.

Texas Paranormals Cover Reveals!
My cover designer has been rocking my covers this week.

Today, I'm going to show you the two books for the Texas Paranormals series.
(Note: Smolder will not be available to purchase under this cover for at least the next six months, because it is part of a charity anthology. BUT if  you buy the antho, send me your receipt and I will send you a file with this cover.)

For now this will simply be the cover for my individual novella in the antho series on Goodreads.

Story Description:
Zack Blackthorne had “dark, immoral” cravings long before he became a vampire. Born during the mid 1800’s, he grew up during a time when loving a man was wrong. But in a moment of weakness, he gave into that urge and life as he knew it changed forever. Now he lives a cursed existence and will never cross that line again. He earned his fate. Alone, he exists in the shadows of the world.

Nash Dixon is a new vampire who’s used to living his life in the light. A photographer by trade, he has no idea how to deal with his new reality. He hasn’t mentioned his latest medical condition to his best friends, only that he needs a safe place to land. Bringing danger to their door was never part of the plan.

Nash also didn’t count on Zack, his sexy new mentor. Zack is an enigma...grumpy, gorgeous, and completely off-limits. At least that’s what Zack’s mouth says. The heat in his eyes says something else entirely. As a photographer, Nash sees that deeper need. But how does he convince a 150-year-old vampire that sometimes the light is exactly where he needs to be?

Shiver Story Description:

A year ago Corey Abbott’s life entered the realm of the bizarre when he discovered the things that go bump in the night are real. But working for the local vampire council didn’t prepare him for were-deer shifters.

Nine months ago Dare Buckley’s herd abandoned him. Now, he’s slowly going mad from Lyme disease...something that doesn’t hurt normal deer, but for were-deer is fatal.

On one snowy, sleet-filled night, the two collided...literally.

This Christmas two men find love in the most unexpected place...a lonely, desolate highway.

It’s definitely not your typical meet-cute, but it’s a twist of fate that would even make Santa happy.

And for those of you that weren't aware, here is the anthology which features Smolder by me as well as three other novellas by three other VERY TALENTED authors. All the proceeds from this antho go to the Rainbow Railroad which is a charity group out of Canada that helps persecuted gay men escape bad situations like what's been happening in Chechnya the last year or so...

Children of the Night Anthology
releasing October 25th.

Found at the Jazz Club
I finished writing the first draft of this book on Monday. It's just under 50,000 words, so it didn't quite work out to be a novella...LOL. And that's just the way I write.

(For those of you keeping track, that means it's the same length that Found at the Library was.)

I don't quite have a cover to show you yet. My graphic designer and I have been going back and forth on it while I've been writing this today, so I should have it by next Friday maybe.

BUT I do have a blurb to share:

Found At the Jazz Club Story Description:
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...or does it?
Emily Hodges went to Vegas for her best friend’s wedding. She was NOT looking for a husband. Been there, done that, never doing it again. She has enough scars on her heart, and doesn’t need or want any more.
Brady Gresham went to Vegas to find his musical voice again. Instead he found an inspiring muse in the form of Emily. But right now his musical career is his focus. He’s too young to want or need to be tied down.
Somehow their drunken get-together turned into a wedding that neither one of them can remember or explain.
Waking up married was never part of the plan, but you know what they say about best laid plans...
Releasing late November

Do I have a fifth thing to share today?
Gah...I'm feeling a little brain dead after all that.

How about I share a couple of books that I've read recently that I LOVED and had to buy in print...

These are two very different stories, but I loved them both so much...
69 Million Things I Hate About You
by Kira Archer
m/f romantic comedy
Amazon link (and right now it's only $.99)

This story is about an executive assistant who wins $69 million in the lottery and decides to quit in the most epic way...by driving her demanding, exacting boss mad. It's so much fun!

Five Dares
by Eli Easton
m/m new adult romance

This book is about two guys just graduating college who do a completely stupid thing that results in them both having unusable hands for the summer. The scenes that play out are sexy and fun.

Read them.
They're really good.

Have a great weekend everyone!
smiles,
Christi
