Friday Five on Saturday...

I know I'm a day late, but I'm hoping when you find out exactly why...

My Friday was BUSY...doing this...
I spent all day yesterday formatting and getting both of these books uploaded and ready for you.
Releasing November 30, 2017

Found At the Jazz Club Story Description:

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...or does it?
Emily Hodges went to Vegas for her best friend’s wedding. She was NOT looking for a husband. Been there, done that, never doing it again. She has enough scars on her heart, and doesn’t need or want any more.
Brady Gresham went to Vegas to find his musical voice again. Instead he found an inspiring muse in the form of Emily. But right now his musical career is his focus. He’s too young to want or need to be tied down.
Somehow their drunken get-together turned into a wedding that neither one of them can remember or explain.
Waking up married was never part of the plan, but you know what they say about best laid plans...

Releasing December 8, 2017

Shiver Story Description:

A year ago Corey Abbott’s life entered the realm of the bizarre when he discovered the things that go bump in the night are real. But working for the local vampire council didn’t prepare him for were-deer shifters.

Nine months ago Dare Buckley’s herd abandoned him. Now, he’s slowly going mad from Lyme disease...something that doesn’t hurt normal deer, but for were-deer is fatal.

On one snowy, sleet-filled night, the two collided...literally.

This Christmas two men find love in the most unexpected place...a lonely, desolate highway.

It’s definitely not your typical meet-cute, but it’s a twist of fate that would even make Santa happy.

And if you are a blogger or reviewer, I would LOVE to send you a copy of one or both books for a release week review. Drop me a note here or email me at snowchris_01@yahoo.com and I'll get you hooked up!

My latest passion...
OMG, I'm loving this cd so freaking much.
And I know she has her haters, but I'm definitely not one of them. I actually think she's pretty damn business savvy and that's incredible especially considering how young she still is.
I'll admit that I've been listening to it a bit obsessively.

The little things...

It's official.
I moved into my Christmas mug this week and I couldn't be happier about it.
We'll just ignore the day that I took this photo it was 87* outside.
Fall in Texas, y'all...it just ain't right!

Writing...

I'll admit that I haven't been as productive this week as I'd hoped to be...but dang, I have worked on FIVE different books this week doing various tasks on them.

That's nuts, so I'm not going to feel guilty about that.

I'm still writing the first draft of When Love Comes Back. Right now it's sitting at about 35,000 words...and I plan to finish it in November.
O.o
That means I need to write about 50,000 more words on it in the next two weeks.

That sounds nuts, but it's doable if I put the hours into plotting the rest of the book out that I need to do...TODAY.

I WILL do it!

An Excerpt...

And speaking of getting things done...have you read Snowcroft Restoration yet?
It released this week, and the reviews so far have been incredible.

How about a tiny excerpt to pique your interest?

Ian stepped closer. He couldn’t help it. To see Law in so much pain was killing him. “I’m here because I care about you.” In fact, he was pretty sure that he was falling in love, but Law wasn’t ready to hear that yet. “Because I think I can help. Because I think I’m one of the few who can truly understand what you’re going through. And because I have places inside me that are just as broken as you are, but I believe we can get better together.”

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
smiles,
Christi
